Mr. Sparks is a Founder at Shelter Growth Capital Partners and its affiliate SG Capital Partners, where he functions as CEO/CIO. Prior to founding SGCP, Mr. Sparks owned and managed DLS Advisors, established in October of 2008 to invest in mortgage and other fixed income securities, equities and equity derivatives and real estate.

Prior to establishing DLS Advisors, Mr. Sparks was an employee of Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 1989 to July 2008, serving as a Partner from 2002 to 2008 and a Managing Director from 1999 to 2008. Mr. Sparks spent his 19 years at Goldman Sachs in the firm’s Fixed Income Division working the majority of that time in the mortgage business including serving as head of the firm’s Mortgage Department.

Mr. Sparks also spent portions of his career at Goldman Sachs trading emerging market debt, asset-backed securities, and working in securitization and whole loan finance. As head of the Mortgage Department, Mr. Sparks’ responsibilities included oversight of trading, capital commitment, finance and risk management related to the division’s activities in residential and commercial mortgage loans, consumer loans, securities and derivatives.

Mr. Sparks was a member of Goldman Sachs’ Firmwide Risk Committee, co-head of Goldman Sachs’ Structured Products Capital Committee and Chairman of the Board of Goldman Sachs Commercial Mortgage Capital. He also served on the Boards or Advisory Committees for Goldman Sachs subsidiaries Litton Loan Servicing, Avelo Mortgage and Senderra.

Mr. Sparks holds B.B.A.s in both Finance and Accounting from Texas A&M University where he has served on the Board of Trustees for the 12th Man Foundation. He also served on the Mays Business School Finance Department Advisory Board which recognized him as an Outstanding Alumnus in 2008.

Mr. Gasvoda is a Founder at Shelter Growth Capital Partners and its affiliate SG Capital Partners, where he functions as CFO. Prior to founding SGCP, Mr. Gasvoda was a partner of Goldman Sachs & Co. and, until April 2013 served as a Goldman Sachs Advisory Director.

He joined Goldman Sachs’ Mortgage department in 1997 and ran the credit loan trading business from 2002 through 2007 where he also oversaw mortgage investments in external operating companies. He also served on the Boards or Advisory Committees for Goldman Sachs subsidiaries and portfolio companies including Essent Group, Litton Loan Servicing, LownHome, Avelo Mortgage and Senderra.

From 2008-2010 Mr. Gasvoda headed the Strategic Portfolio Solutions Group (SPSG), sourcing portfolios of mortgage and consumer related assets for principal, agent and advisory purposes. In 2011, he managed Goldman Sachs’ residential loan servicing company (Litton Loan Servicing) and ran a successful sale process to exit the business.

Mr. Gasvoda was a CPA for KPMG from 1991-1995. He holds a BS in Finance from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has served on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations, including Waterside School and the Darien Public Library.

Mr. Mahoney is a Founder at Shelter Growth Capital Partners and its affiliate SG Capital Partners, where he functions as Senior Portfolio Manager. Prior to founding SGCP, Mr. Mahoney was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co.

Mr. Mahoney joined the Mortgage department in 2002 and until 2007 he worked in the Credit Loan Trading business. Mr. Mahoney was responsible for the trading of whole loans, structuring and marketing of securitizations and managing and hedging retained credit securities.

From 2007-2008 he helped to form the Residential Credit Trading Desk, which traded subordinate securities across residential products. From 2008-2011 Mr. Mahoney was a senior member of the Distressed Whole Loan Trading desk, purchasing and managing portfolios of distressed loans. He also helped to form and manage the Asset Management and Servicing Oversight Teams. From 2011-2013 Mr. Mahoney was co-head of the Residential Loan Trading Desk, building and running the non-Agency Conduit.

Mr. Mahoney holds a BA in Finance from George Washington University.

Taylor Gosney is a Senior Business Development Manager with SG Capital Partners LLC’s Residential Correspondent Division. With her 20+ years of experience in the mortgage industry she is focused on business development as well as training and education in the Non-QM space. Prior to joining SG Capital in 2019, Mrs. Gosney held Director of Product Development roles in both wholesale and retail lending companies, including ClearEdge Lending, Supreme Lending and LendUS.

Brideen Gallagher is SG Capital’s Eastern-based Regional Sales Manager. Her expertise includes in-depth knowledge of correspondent lending, capital markets, and legal and regulatory impacts of legislation on mortgage company clients. Ms. Gallagher has over 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, including retail, correspondent and vendor business development, and business advisory services. Prior to joining SG, Ms. Gallagher held various roles in regional and national business development, as well as consulting and business advisory positions for operational efficiency, vendor management, and Federal Government and GSE Agency relationships.

Brideen is active in the development and fundraising efforts for her high school alma mater and is a graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association Future Leaders Program and is an active member of the CMB Society of the Mortgage Bankers Association.

She earned a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Finance and a Master in Business Administration degree from Villanova University. She also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University

Shane Larscheid is a Senior Business Development Manager with SG Capital Partners. His correspondent lending experience spans over 20 years, with expertise and in-depth knowledge of business development, capital markets, operations, and credit risk. He has an extensive, proven track record in forging strong client relationships and executing strategies that generate new business and promote long-term growth. Prior to joining SG Capital in 2024, Shane helped launch AIG’s correspondent lending platform in 2014 and served as Head of Business Development, overseeing nationwide production and relationship management. He has also held senior business development positions with Bank of America and Chase, and he was instrumental in establishing a successful de novo correspondent lending platform at Homeward Residential.

Shane is active in his local community and serves on the board for Visit Spearfish, a non-profit which promotes local tourism, as well as Tip of the Spear Scholarship Association, a non-profit which awards college scholarships to student athletes at his high school alma mater. He holds a BA degree in Business Management and Communications from Arizona State University.

Pranay brings a robust background in Sales and Revenue Operations, as well as Sales Strategy, specializing in leveraging transformative tools like Salesforce and Tableau to drive new and existing business growth and operational efficiency. Prior to joining SG Capital, Pranay was at WeWork, where he worked on the Sales Operations team, closely collaborating with the US and Canada Leasing teams as well as the Global All Access sales team. Previously, he served as a Systems Analyst at Wolfspeed, specializing in Salesforce integration and optimization.

Trey Waters is a seasoned mortgage executive with over 20 years of leadership experience across national correspondent production, key account management, and business development. Tey has a proven track record of expanding market share and driving sustainable growth for both startups and established organizations.

Throughout his career, Trey has held senior leadership and national account roles with respected firms such as GenWay Home Mortgage, First Guaranty Mortgage, and Radian Guaranty. His expertise spans correspondent lending, with a strong focus on the Non-QM and GNMA sectors. Trey's approach centers on building lasting relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to his lending partners.

Based remotely in Oklahoma, Trey leverages his deep industry knowledge, broad network, and passion for excellence to drive performance and lead transformation in today’s evolving mortgage landscape. When he’s not working, Trey enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his OSU Cowboys.

Nancy began her career in commercial lending with Texas Commerce Bank and quickly pivoted to residential lending with over thirty years of mortgage banking experience encompassing secondary marketing, correspondent lending, sales & marketing, sales management, MBS trading, retail lending management, loss mitigation, REO and Vendor Management specializing in Pricing & Lock Management. Well-versed and experienced in structured transactions and capital markets. Instrumental in developing top notch, best-in-class mortgage banking platforms with Lehman Brothers, UBS, Morgan Stanley & others.
